And the first program to be installed on this tablet? iPro Anesthesia!

After training with electronic health records starting in medical school, I was flabbergasted (love that word) when I was relegated to paper charting, especially for anesthesia records, in community hospitals and offices/clinics. Very little effort was made to reconcile missing information or communicate proactively events regarding patient findings during anesthesia.

We use iPro to manage perioperative information and anesthetic data in multiple locations. Along with the streamlined user experience typical of the iPad, functionality is straightforward. All menus are all easily accessible by multiple users, and entered is automatically saved and synced via server to other authorized users who can see updates to the patient chart or anesthetic record with minimal latency. .
